Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shamans For Hire website and phone reading service (the "Service"), operated by Emposola ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service or placing a call, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Entertainment purposes only

Readings, guidance and other content on the Service are provided for entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any reading or that any prediction or outcome will occur. You alone are responsible for the decisions you make. See our Entertainment Disclaimer.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Service is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. Never delay or stop seeking professional help because of something you heard on a call. If you are in crisis or there is an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By placing a call you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the payment card you use belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it.

4. Practitioners are independent

Shamans and other practitioners on the Service are independent practitioners, not our employees, agents or representatives. They set their own availability. Their views and statements are their own. We do not endorse any particular practitioner or guarantee their abilities.

5. How billing works

• Per-minute rates. Practitioners are priced by tier: Beginner $2.99/min, Established $3.99/min, Top-rated $4.99/min. Each practitioner's tier and rate are shown on their profile before you call.
• Card hold. Before we connect your call, we place a temporary authorization hold on your card for a set number of minutes at that rate. The hold limits the maximum length and cost of the call; the call ends automatically when the held time is used.
• What you pay. You are charged only for the time you and the practitioner are actually connected, rounded up to the next whole minute. Any unused part of the hold is released. Your bank decides how quickly released funds show as available.
• No connection, no charge. If the practitioner does not accept or the call does not connect, the hold is released in full.

Payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.

6. Refunds

Because you pay only for minutes you were connected, minutes used are not refundable, except where a billing error occurred (for example, being charged for time you were not connected, or a duplicate charge). Details are in our Refund Policy.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at info@shamanforhire.com so we can look into it; most issues are resolved quickly. If you file a chargeback or payment dispute for minutes you actually used, we may provide the call records, connection times and recording to your card issuer as evidence, and we may suspend your access to the Service while the dispute is open. Disputes found to be unfounded may result in permanent loss of access.

8. Call recording

All calls are recorded. You will hear an announcement at the start of each call. By continuing the call you consent to the recording. Recordings are used for quality, safety, training and to resolve billing disputes, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may not record calls yourself without the practitioner's consent.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to harass, threaten or abuse practitioners or staff; not to use the Service for anything unlawful; not to share another person's private information without permission; and not to interfere with or misuse the Service. Practitioners may end a call that becomes abusive, and we may suspend or close access for any breach of these Terms. Our Community Guidelines explain what we expect from callers and practitioners.

10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any reading, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the call that gave rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Using the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
