Your Privacy Rights
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This page adds to our Privacy Policy and explains rights you may have under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your rights
- Access: ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information, including call recordings, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax or open-dispute reasons.
- Portability: ask for your information in a commonly used format.
- Objection and restriction (GDPR): object to or ask us to limit certain processing.
- No sale or sharing: we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Non-discrimination: we won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Categories of information
We collect identifiers (name, email, phone number), limited payment information (status, amount, card brand or last four digits, never the full card number), call records and recordings, and basic technical data such as IP address. We use them only to provide the Service, bill correctly, keep the Service safe and meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We process information to perform our contract with you (connecting and billing calls), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, resolving disputes), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting), and with your consent where required (for example, continuing a call after the recording announcement).
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How to make a request
Email info@shamanforhire.com from the email address you used, or include the phone number you called from, and tell us which right you want to use. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days (45 days under the CCPA where allowed). You may use an authorized agent with your written permission. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
