Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Shamans For Hire works only when callers and practitioners treat each other with honesty and respect. These guidelines apply to everyone who uses the Service and add to our Terms of Service.
For everyone
- Be respectful. Harassment, threats, hate speech and abusive language are not allowed. Either side may end a call that becomes abusive.
- Respect privacy. Don't share another person's private information without permission, and don't record calls yourself without consent. Calls are recorded by us, as announced at the start of each call.
- Keep it lawful. Don't use the Service for anything illegal.
- You must be 18 or older.
For practitioners
- Present readings as spiritual guidance and entertainment, never as medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Never tell a caller to stop any treatment or medication.
- Never promise outcomes or claim to guarantee results.
- Never ask callers for extra money, gifts or payments outside this website, and don't try to move callers off the platform.
- If a caller mentions self-harm or an emergency, encourage them to contact emergency services or a crisis line (in the US, call or text 988). See our Spiritual Crisis Support page.
- Be honest about who you are, your tradition and your experience.
Reporting
If something on a call worried you, email info@shamanforhire.com with the date and approximate time of the call. We review reports and may suspend or remove anyone who breaks these guidelines.
